What
is the general situation with the noise?
Excessive noise is perhaps a less perceived, but
still very intensive factor affecting human health. In large urban
agglomerations, the effect of noise is further aggravated by high
concentrations of people living on a small area. In terms of noise
effects on people Prague is without any doubt the worst of all regions of the Czech
Republic.

The charts show that in spite of increasing
traffic noise levels in places and areas which have already almost
reached their maximum traffic capacity do not tend to change very
much. Increased values can be observed at the Vrovická str. and
Magistrát (Prague City Hall) sites, while the Kupa monitoring site
has shown a decline.
