 How is the laws, policies,.. developed in Prague in general ?
Conceptual development plans of the city are laid down in different documents which pass through various stages of preparations, discussions, and approval by the Municipal Assembly of the City of Prague. A draft of a new Land-Use Plan of Prague has been prepared and is currently awaiting approval. In 1998, the City Council of Prague adopted a draft of the Strategic Plan of the City of Prague, conceived as an outlook for the next twenty years. The City Council of Prague which resulted from the elections in autumn 1998 set as one of its objectives the completion and adoption of the two planning documents in 1999. In line with general development plans of the city, more detailed documents are being prepared for different thematic areas. At the moment, for example, work is underway on the Municipal Energy Supply Document, which is based on the Land-Use Plan, analyses energy supply options, and presents a concept of supply of Prague with different types of energies.
