KOTO PROJECT
Koto project workers work
with immigrant communities in the suburbs of Turku. Their aim is to
encourage and support immigrants becoming integrated and active in
their community.
Main activities are a.
workers take responsibility of one particular suburb and encourage
immigrants to be active participants in the local community, b.
employing immigrants to the project, c. acing as an information
resource (newsletter, internet etc.) and d. campaigns against
racism.
